Dengue fever 

Dengue fever (DB) is an acute febrile disease caused by dengue virus, which enters the human bloodstream through a mosquito bite.

Causes of dengue fever:

Aedes aegypti is the vector of dengue virus causes dengue fever.The main cause is a viral disease dengue hemorrhagic fever,which is a virus of the family Flavivirida. Symptoms of dengueemerging as someone who has been infected by one of four types of dengue virus infection by different types of dengue virus.Immune system that has been formed in the body after the first infection would likely result in the emergence of a more severedisease symptoms when infected for a second time. A personcan be infected by at least two types of dengue virus during the lifetime, but the same type of virus can only infect one-time due to the body's immune system is formed.

Dengue virus can enter the human body through the bite of the carrier vector, the Aedes mosquito of the genus such as Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus females. Aedes aegypti is thevector of the most common cause of this disease. Mosquitoescan carry the dengue virus after sucking the blood of people whohave been infected with the virus. After an incubation period ofvirus in mosquitoes for 8-10 days, an infected mosquito can transmit dengue virus to humans healthy bite. Female mosquitoes can spread the dengue virus is carried to theoffspring via the egg (transovarial).


Finally, the level of risk of contracting dengue fever increased to a person who has antibodies to dengue virus infection due to the first. In addition, the risk of dengue fever were also higher in women, someone who is younger than 12 years

Narrative text " Romeo and Juliet".

In the town of Verona there lived two families, the Capulets and the Montagues. They engaged in a bitter feud. Among the Montagues was Romeo, a hot-blooded young man with an eye for the ladies. One day, Romeo attended the feast of the Capulets', a costume party where he expected to meet his love, Rosaline, a haughty beauty from a well-to-do family. Once there, however, Romeo's eyes felt upon Juliet, and he thought of Rosaline no more.

The vision of Juliet had been invading his every thought. Unable to sleep, Romeo returned late that night to the Juliet's bedroom window. There, he was surprised to find Juliet on the balcony, professing her love for him and wishing that he were not a "Montague", a name behind his own. "What's in a name? That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet." Romeo was ready to deny his name and professed his love. The two agreed to meet at nine o-clock the next morning to be married.

Early the next morning, Romeo came to Friar Lawrence begging the friar to marry him to Juliet. The Friar performed the ceremony, praying that the union might someday put an end to the feud between the two families. He advised Romeo kept the marriage a secret for a time.

On the way home, Romeo chanced upon his friend Mercutio arguing with Tybalt, a member of the Capulet clan. That qurreling last caused Merquito died. Romeo was reluctant no longer. He drew his sword and slew Tybalt died. Romeo realized he had made a terrible mistake. Then Friar Lawrence advised Romeo to travel to Mantua until things cool down. He promised to inform Juliet.
In the other hand, Juliet's father had decided the time for her to marry with Paris. Juliet consulted Friar Lawrence and made a plot to take a sleeping potion for Juliet which would simulate death for three days. The plot proceeded according to the plan. Juliet was sleeping in death.

Unfortunately, The Friar's letter failed to reach Romeo. Under the cover of darkness, he broke into Juliet's tomb. Romeo kissed the lips of his Juliet one last time and drank the poison. Meanwhile, the effects of the sleeping potion wear off. Juliet woke up calling for Romeo. She found her love next to her but was lying dead, with a cup of poison in his hand. She tried to kiss the poison from his lips, but failed. Then Juliet put out his dagger and plunged it into her breast. She died

CERPEN CANTIK CITRA 3 - Sahabat harta paling berharga

Cathy lagi jatuh cinta. Setiap hari yang dibicarakan cuma Doni, Doni, dan Doni. Rasanya cuma itu yang penting. Bahkan sudah tiga kali Cathy membatalkan janjinya bersama the Chikitas. 


Hari ini mereka janjian berkumpul di rumah Keisha untuk me-recycle baju lama menjadi summer dress untuk dipakai ke acara ulang tahun sekolah yang bertema pantai, dan seperti kemarin-kemarin, Cathy belum muncul-muncul juga.

Jangan-jangan dia nggak datang lagi, itu yang pertama kali terlintas di kepala Keisha. “Ini nggak bisa dibiarkan,” kata Keisha dengan sebal. “Gue takut Cathy bakal patah hati kalau begini terus. Si Doni itu kan favorit semua orang. Berarti Cathy mesti bersaing sama semua cewek single di sekolah kita ini! Mana si Doni gayanya cuek banget begitu. Gimana kalau ternyata Doni cuma memanfaatkan Cathy aja? Inget nggak waktu tiba-tiba dia bilang perlu pinjam catatan sejarah dan Cathy langsung pergi meninggalkan kita demi memberikan catatan itu ke si Doni?”

“Ih… gue jadi emosi mengingat itu!” sahut Maura.

“Menurut lo, apa yang membuat Cathy sampai segitu tergila-gilanya?” tanya Maura lagi tanpa menyembunyikan nada heran di suaranya.

Keisha langsung menoleh, “Fakta bahwa si Doni itu cakep, juara olimpiade matematika, dan 
kemana-mana pakai sepeda lipat emang nggak cukup, ya?”

Maura menghembuskan napasnya dengan frustrasi. “Kita harus menyelamatkan Cathy,” katanya serius. “Apalagi, gue dengar-dengar… Si Sandra ketua OSIS kita juga naksir Doni!”

Baru juga dibicarakan, tahu-tahu Cathy muncul. Wajahnya bercahaya, tampak bahagia. Wajah orang jatuh cinta.

“Kirain nggak jadi dateng,” kata Maura jutek.

“Ya nggak mungkin dong!” sahut Cathy cepat. “Mau pake baju apa gue ke ulang tahun sekolah besok?”

Maka the Chikitas pun bersatu kembali. Semua mengeluarkan baju lama yang akan di-redesain. Gunting dan berbagai pernak-pernik pemanis seperti kancing dan renda berserakan di sana-sini. Cathy sibuk menceritakan “sejarah” munculnya summer dress. 


Ternyata Cathy tetap Cathy yang sama. Yang ketawanya keras dan selalu tertarik pada segala hal. Bayangkan saja, dia tahu sejak kapan summer dress mulai digemari!

“Ternyata lo nggak berubah,” kata Maura lega ketika mereka sudah mulai memotong dress lama menjadi summer dress yang cantik-cantik. “Kirain sibuk mengejar gebetan sudah mengubah lo.”

Cathy tertawa keras. “Yang benar aja!” katanya sambil berputar di depan kaca, mematut-matut summer dress warna kuning yang baru saja “jadi”.

“Itu yang mau kita bilang,” potong Maura. “Kita nggak mau kehilangan elo, karena si Doni. 


Gimana kalo ternyata dia nggak seserius itu? Gimana kalo dia punya banyak gebetan? 


Gimana kalo dia ternyata play boy yang akan mempermainkan elo?”

Cathy tersenyum lebar. “Gue kan punya kalian. Sahabat terbaik yang akan selalu menjaga gue. Cowok boleh datang dan pergi, sahabat sejati seperti kalian pasti akan ada selamanya.”
Maura dan Keisha berangkulan dengan gembira.

“Tapi lo kelihatan bercahaya. Pasti karena jatuh cinta…”
Cathy tersenyum penuh arti.

“Bahkan bahu lo tampak bercahaya!” kata Maura lagi, sambil menepuk bahu Cathy.

“Ini sih bukan karena cinta!” kata Cathy sambil tertawa. “Ini karena gue rajin pakai hand and body lotion, kaliii…”

“Ah, gue juga pake, tapi nggak kayak gitu hasilnya!” potong Maura lagi.

“Ya jelas hasilnya nggak sama, secara lo pake lotion juga jarang-jarang,” kata Keisha menambahkan.

“Gimana gue bisa pede pake summer dress kalau begini!” jerit Maura.

“Hand and body lotion harus dipakai rutin biar hasilnya kayak gini,” sahut Cathy meledek Maura.

“Pakai sekarang deh...” tambah Cathy sambil memberikan Citra Lasting White Extra Bubuk Mutiara Cina ke Maura.

“Iya..iya...” sahut Maura.

Mereka masih mematut-matut diri di depan cermin dengan summer dress yang baru saja jadi ketika terdengar bunyi bel pintu rumah. Seseorang membukakan pintu. Tak lama kemudian, mama Keisha mengetuk kamar.

“Ada yang mencari Cathy,” katanya sambil mengedipkan mata.

“Siapa?” the Chikitas bertanya serempak.

“Keluar saja deh,” jawab mama Keisha penuh arti. “Yang nyari ganteng!”

Ditemani Keisha dan Maura yang penasaran, Cathy berlari ke ruang tamu, masih dengan summer dress yang sedang dicobanya.

Dan di sana, di ruang tamu rumah Keisha, tampak Doni sedang berdiri dengan senyuman mautnya. “Aku tadi ke rumahmu, katanya kamu ke sini,” katanya dengan tatapan tertuju pada Cathy. Dia lalu mengangguk sekilas ke arah Keisha dan Maura yang berdiri dengan tegang di belakang Cathy.

“Ada apa?” tanya Cathy dengan suara bergetar, girang tapi grogi.

“Mau pulangin ini,” kata Doni sambil menyerahkan buku catatan sejarah Cathy. “Dan… mau memastikan... apakah kamu bersedia pergi ke pesta ulang tahun sekolah bersamaku?”

“Astaga…” Maura menutup mulutnya yang melongo. Sirik sekaligus girang.

Cathy mengangguk. Mukanya memerah karena malu. Tapi kemudian dia teringat sesuatu dan menggeleng cepat. “Tapi aku akan pergi bersama teman-temanku!”

“Oh, tidak, tidak! Kita nggak usah barengan!” potong Keisha cepat. “Gue akan pergi sama Maura. Berdua saja.”

“Dia akan pergi bersama lo!” kata Maura pada Doni cepat-cepat.

Melihat itu Doni tertawa. “Kalian the Chikitas memang selalu saling mendukung ya? Jadi 
bagaimana kalau kita pergi bersama-sama saja?”

“Dan membuat lo jadi seperti raja minyak dengan 3 selir? No Way! Silahkan pergi berdua saja,” sahut Keisha lagi. Membuat Doni tertawa makin kencang.

“Terima kasih kalau begitu. Aku pamit saja. Sampai malam minggu. Aku jemput pukul 7, ya?”

Cathy mengangguk bahagia. Senang dan nggak percaya, ternyata Doni bukan sekedar mimpi.
